I am an integrative counsellor who works with both adults and young people (aged 13+).
About me and my practice
The upmost important factor in counselling is the client-counsellor relationship. I provide a calm, warm, accepting and welcoming space for our sessions, be they in person, online or over the telephone.
I can support you with a range of difficulties including anxiety, stress, loss, bereavement, parenting and relationships, to name some. I also have a passion for learning and career change as an adult. I am open minded and approachable.
In our first session I will spend time getting to know you and finding out what brings you to counselling and what your hopes are.
Experience
As well as private practice, I also have counselling experience at a further education college and within the NHS.
Qualifications
Counselling Qualifications:
Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
Level 4 Award in Rape and Sexual Abuse Counselling.
Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling (ACTO).
Transactional Analysis 101.
Level 2 Award in Safeguarding for Counsellors.
Other Qualifications:
Bsc (Honours) Psychology
In progress: Level 6 Advanced Specialist Diploma in Child and Young Person Counselling
I am currently studying the Level 6 Advanced Specialist Diploma in Child and Young Person Counselling.

Initial Consultation
I will offer you a free 20 minute telephone or TEAMS call. Although we will not be able to go into depth, I will ask you about what you would like to bring to counselling and what your needs are. You will have an opportunity to ask me any questions and see if I am the right fit for you. If you wish to go ahead we would book in six initial sessions. They would normally be for the same time each week. Please ensure that you have privacy during our consultation call.
Fees
£40 per 50 minute online or telephone session.
